Coffee question

I love drinking coffee and am wondering if I should be following certain coffee guidelines when it comes to making it healthy.  Unfortunetly I do like it with a little sugar and milk.  I only drink it in the morning and then I switch to water so I don’t have it all day but, it’s something I really don’t want to give up.  Any suggestions??? 

Late night eats?

Why do I always get the munchies late at night?  I’ve tried to stop eating after 7pm but it’s not going so well.  Any advice?  Is there anyone out there that eats a well balanced dinner and that’s it for the night?  

Nice legs anyone??

What do you guys do for toning leg muscles?  I ride my bike and I know I should probably start doing some kind of lunges and squats but I need a good routine to follow. 

Chainsaws

So I’ve been chainsawing things down in my yard lately.  I even carved a tree stump in to a flower pot!  Yeah me:)  Well, I’ve decided that using a chainsaw is a great workout.  Not only are you really sore but you feel very productive when you’re done.  I don’t think a DVD or a class at the YMCA would work but feel free to run with this idea gang~ 

 

PMS munchies?

Sorry to leave you out of the loop on this one boys but, come on ladies, is it just me?  The past two days I’ve had major munchies.  Why can’t I stop thinking about junk food??  I even ate a small slice of cake at a church meeting today!  Help!  I don’t want all my hard work to go to waste just because of PMS~ Ahhhh~

The Golden Girls

Sue81’s latest blog got me thinking about relationships.   I realized that this journey is not only hard on the ones loosing the weigh but on family and friends too.  They’ve lost the old you!    I mean what would Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia do about all their problems if one of them couldn’t eat cake in the kitchen?!  Would issues be resolved?  How would they end their episodes?  I’m wondering if my old cake buddies are looking at the new non-cake eating Cynthia and wondering how to interact with me?  Hmmmm…

 

Can the scale be right?

I weighed in this morning and I’ve lost 5 pounds already!  I know this won’t be the loosing pattern since that boils down to a pound a day but with all this eating right and exercising my body is in shock!  Next week here I come~

Okay internet world let’s see if I can motivate myself this time.  I would love to just feel good about my body again.  I saw some pictures of myself this past weekend and I was so tan and skinny.  Even if no one else reads this it might do my heart some good just to blog this experience down for the unknown world to read…
